  This was my first visit to the Traralgon store and it won't be my last. It was very neat and organised well. You could easily see all the fabric, displayed beautifully on vertical stands, not just bolts chucked one on top of the other on tables, as is the case at Narre Warren, Maribyrnong and Essendon DFO. The store manager needs commending.

  I purchased some cotton damask at the Maribyrnong store earlier in the week but when I went to neaten in ends before sewing some hems, I noticed a flaw in the fabric . Closer scrutiny showed numerous flaws. Also, had I neatened the ends there would have been less than the amount I required due to the previous poor cutting. Traralgon was my nearest store, time wise - 2 hour round trip.

  To the person who complained about having to wait, 20 minutes is nothing. I've waited far longer elsewhere.When the staff are pleasant it makes a difference.

  Great range of goods. Staff make the journey very pleasant. They make you enjoy the experience. Their product knowledge is amazing. It is great to see males in the fabrics. They too are learning knowledge about a female domain.

  Only one issue. The neatness of the store is some times compromised. It would be great if someone just wandered around periodically and straightened up the goods and put things in their rightful places. It has caused me some inconvenience as a disabled shopper having to dodge goods on the floor in tight aisles.

  The staff member who served me did not stop apologising for the huge inconvenience.She quickly found replacement fabric and cut it generously and straight. Thank you so much to the lass involved!!

  I went there to buy some binding material to repair a frayed towel and came away with no binding (partly because it was expensive and the staff member pointed this out) and an offer from a staff member to do the repair herself! I was speechless and I accepted. Thank you Lisa.
